Cockroach Sena ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

When you place an order or sign up to our enlistment list, we collect:

• Identity data: name, phone number, email address
• Shipping data: street address, city, state, pincode
• Order data: products, sizes, quantities, referral codes
• Payment data: processed by Razorpay — we never see or store your card / UPI / wallet credentials
• Technical data: browser user agent, IP address (via Razorpay/Shiprocket logs)

2. How we use it

• Order fulfillment: to print, pack and ship your order via Shiprocket
• Customer support: to answer your queries and resolve issues
• Drop alerts: only if you've enlisted — easy unsubscribe in every email
• Fraud prevention: Razorpay's automatic risk-checks during payment
• Compliance: retain order records per Indian tax law (typically 7 years)

3. Who we share data with

We share only what's necessary, only with these specific third parties:

• Razorpay — processes payments. Razorpay's privacy policy
• Shiprocket — ships orders India-wide. Shiprocket's privacy policy
• Google (Apps Script + Gmail) — sends order confirmation emails and stores order records in a private Google Sheet only we can access

We do NOT sell your data to anyone. Ever. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it to retarget you. We don't pass it to third-party marketing services without your explicit opt-in.

4. Cookies and local storage

Our site uses your browser's localStorage (not cookies) to remember:

• Your cart contents (so it persists across page reloads)
• Your last order receipt (for the success page)

We don't track you across other websites. We don't run third-party analytics scripts unless we explicitly enable Google Analytics in the future (we'll update this policy if we do).

5. Your rights

You can at any time:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data (we'll keep order records per Indian tax law, but remove your name from marketing lists)
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Unsubscribe from any marketing email (link in every email footer)

6. Data security

All payment data flows directly to Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant systems — never touches our servers. The Cockroach Sena website itself is served over HTTPS with TLS 1.2+. Our order log is stored in a private Google Sheet protected by Google's enterprise-grade security.

7. Data retention

Order records: 7 years (per Indian tax law). Email subscription data: until you unsubscribe. Cart data: stored in your browser only — clearing browser data deletes it.

8. Children

Cockroach Sena is not directed at children under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us for immediate deletion.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email to enlisted members and via a banner on this page.
